The interior is at once elegant and comfortable with floors of Angelica Gold travertine, deep sofas with clouds of down cushions, artful textiles paired with wonderful object and fine art – it both soothes and excites. The villa was taken “to the studs” in 2005 which resulted in a fresh and imaginative result.
From everywhere in the open plan living space the large flat screen HDTV can be viewed – living, study and kitchen / dining area. The intimate study has a desk and large sumptuous lounge chairs. The entire house is wireless with wire less printing and fax machine.
Suite I has a queen bed over looking the spa. The generous quartzite bathroom has a generous open shower with all fittings and fixtures by La Cava. The bedroom has a flat screen TV.
Suite II has a king bed and also opens to the courtyard with views to the San Jacinto mountains. Swathed with Angelica Gold travertine, the bath opens fully to the bedroom with a Phillip Stark soaking tub, which looks through the room to the courtyard and mountains beyond. It also contains a vast walk in shower and all fittings and fixtures are by La Cava. The bedroom has a large TV with DVD housed in the antique Chinese armoire.
The eucalyptus, stainless steel and glass kitchen is a cooks dream. With all new Kitchen Aid pro appliances, it is open to the dining and living areas perfect for entertaining.
