Museum Camp at the Palm Springs Art Museum
Founded in 1938, and Located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, the Palm Springs Art Museum features a sophisticated collection of art. The museum has an art collection that rivals urban metropolitan museums, and includes works from Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Donald Judd, Louise Bourgeois, Alexander Calder, Henry Moore, Robert Rauschenberg, Antony Gormley and Ansel Adams. The museum is open every day except Mondays and major holidays, and is always 75 degrees, providing a welcome respite from the Palm Springs summer triple-digit temperatures.
The Museum also features free admission every Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. and every second Sunday of each month.
Summer Kids Camp at the Palm Canyon Theatre
Does your child have a flair for the dramatic? Then Theater Camp at the Palm Canyon Theater may be just the thing for their Palm Springs vacation! The 19th Summer Kids Camp at the Palm Canyon Theatre in Palm Springs will be offering six weeks of camp, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am. until 4:00 pm. beginning June 15, 2015 through July 24, 2015.
12 accredited teachers, 5 guest artists, Karaoke on Wednesdays, and pizza day on Fridays!
Acting, singing, improve, theater Dance, Make-up, Stage Combat and Stage Craft are just a few of the activities kids will learn about while attending theater camp at a landmark of Desert culture, the Palm Canyon Theater.

The Living Desert in Palm Desert is a truly unique zoo experience enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. I am (ahem) significantly over 12, but Zoo Camp sounds pretty awesome, even to me! I can’t even imagine how much fun it would be for a kid…
Children ages 4 through 12 can explore natural habitats, encounter exotic animals, discover scientific concepts and have the most fun under the desert sun! Summer ZooCamp consists of six weekly sessions. Each themed class focuses on an entertaining and educational topic, geared to the specific age level at which it’s offered. ZooCampers will be excited by the special behind-the-scenes tours and animal encounters you can only find at The Living Desert!
Summer ZooCamp weekly sessions are offered for ages 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 and 10-12. These sessions run Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:00 noon. Summer ZooCampers need to come equipped for outdoor activity with a snack, lunch and water bottle each day.
